FM27: how to heal an injured player and get your squad fit

Your top scorer gets hurt before the final, half the squad comes back from the World Cup with days of rest owed, the dressing room is sulking: in Football Manager 27 you usually just wait. MacLibero RT, the Mac app that reads and edits your single-player save, fixes it in a click, and every action can be undone.

How do you heal an injured player in FM27?

1. In MacLibero RT, click “Launch FM 27”, load your save, then click “Refresh from game” (⌘R).
2. Open the injured player's profile. The “Availability” card shows the injury, the days left and the expected return date.
3. Click “Heal”. The injury is removed in the game.

“Heal” leaves condition alone: the game brings it back up by itself. If you want him ready straight away, use “Full fitness” too (see below).

How do you lift a suspension in FM27?

In the same “Availability” card, “Lift suspension” removes disciplinary suspensions: red cards and suspensions carried over from last season. Other absences stay locked: doping, leave and unidentified reasons are never editable, and no button appears for them.

Recall a player from holiday after a tournament

After a major international tournament, FM 27 gives the players who took part some days of rest. In our test save, 14 PSG players were in that situation after the World Cup. “Recall from holiday” removes that post-tournament rest and makes the player available again. MacLibero RT deliberately keeps it apart from suspensions, so you pick one or the other.

How do you get a player to full fitness in FM27?

The profile's “Fitness” card shows condition, match sharpness, fatigue and morale. Two buttons:

• “Full fitness”: condition and match sharpness at their best, fatigue cleared. These are the values the game itself uses when it restores a player; fatigue that is already lower is not raised.
• “Max morale”: morale set to “Superb” (20/20). The game then lets it evolve normally, match after match.

Outside “Edit profile” mode, these buttons write straight away. Inside it, they fill the list of pending changes, which is written with everything else when you click “Apply to game”. You can also set each value by hand in that mode.

How do you heal the whole squad at once?

1. Open your club's profile and a team tab.
2. In the action bar, choose “Heal whole squad”, “Lift all suspensions”, “Recall from holiday”, “Restore squad fitness” or “Max morale for the squad”.
3. The confirmation shows how many players are affected; click “Apply to game”.

These actions cover the whole club, every team included. Each one is a single batch in History. To combine fitness with other changes on one tab, the “Squad in top condition” template in FM27 mass edit does the same thing with a preview.

Can it be reversed?

Yes. Nothing is deleted from your save: the injury or suspension is only taken off the player's list, and History knows how to put it back. Try it on a copy of your save first. FM 27 may keep showing the old situation: save and reload your save to see the change. Single-player saves only.
